The effect of social responsibility on Organizational identification through Significance of job and in the light of ethical leadership

Abstract
Background and Aim: The obligation and commitment of the organization to be accountable to all stakeholders for its actions and performance can promote positive behaviors and attitudes among employees. The present study investigated the effect of organizational social responsibility on organizational identity of employees by strengthening the sense of significance of job with the presence of ethical leadership in the organization.
Methodology: This is an applied research of descriptive-survey and correlation type. The statistical population consists of the staff of Ilam University of Medical Sciences, 169 of whom were selected by simple random sampling. The data collection tool was a questionnaire in which the apparent validity and construct validity and its reliability were evaluated and confirmed. Data analysis was performed by structural equation modeling with the help of Smart PLS software version 3.
Findings: Social responsibility also directly and through significance of job has a positive effect on the promotion of organizational identity. This influence is also strengthened by the presence of ethical leadership in the organization.
Conclusion: The active effort of the organization in the practice of its social responsibilities makes employees consider their job important and honorable and feel proud of their organization. Ethical leadership can also help to promote and strengthen such a constructive feeling and attitude in the organization.
