Methodology: This study is based on the purpose, application and in terms of data collection in the field of descriptive survey studies. The research method is sequential (qualitative-quantitative). Extraction of the pattern representing the determinants of self-examination by content analysis method and prioritization of them has been done by triangular fuzzy Delphi method. Qualitative stage data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 16 university professors specializing in human resources, organizational behavior, and psychology. In a small part, 50 managers of government organizations in Khorramabad city were surveyed using a questionnaire.
Findings: Twenty-four main categories were extracted as determinants of self-examination and categorized into individual and organizational factors. Prioritization of these categories also showed that self-confidence, self-confidence, goal setting, individual competence and organizational culture are the most important antecedents.
Conclusion: In order to facilitate the self-examination of employees, human resource managers need to strengthen the required individual and organizational backgrounds with a comprehensive view and in this way pay attention to the priority of the impact of these factors.
