Identifying Criteria for Recruitment and Selection of Human Resources in Quranic Lessons

Abstract
Background & Purpose: Human capital is the main pillar of the organization; then, every organization is trying to attract and hire the best people. Considering the significant impact that the recruitment and selection system has on the organization's management, organizations should consider criteria that are effective on their successful performance in the recruitment and selection of human resources. This research seeks to identify the criteria for attracting and selecting human capital with a Quranic approach.
Methodology: The upcoming research is applied research in terms of its purpose, and is exploratory in terms of its nature. In this research, data collection has been done in the form of documents. To achieve the mentioned goal, the Holy Quran was examined as the main source of the research. Thus, topic research method in the Holy Quran was used to collect data from verses of Quran. In addition, the thematic analysis method was used to codify and analyze the verses.
Findings: By searching for concepts and phrases related to the topic, 916 final verses were obtained and coded, from which 359 basic themes, 74 organized themes, and finally nine overarching themes were extracted. The overarching themes obtained in this research were found to be: spiritual potential (religion), physical potential, spiritual potential, mental potential, management skills, interactive skills, personality traits, backgrounded characteristics, and professional ethics.
Conclusion: The results of the research showed that in addition to general and specialized characteristics, other aspects should also be considered in the recruitment and selection of people in a way that implies the simultaneous assessment of commitment and expertise based on the noble verses of the Holy Quran.
