The Mediating Role of Dynamic Capabilities in the Impact of Social Capital on Entrepreneurship Orientation

Abstract
Background and Objective: In developing economies, entrepreneurship orientation in dynamic business environments is an essential point for companies. In this regard, attention to social capital and dynamic capabilities of company in such an environment can be useful in developing and enhancing entrepreneurial orientation of the company. The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of dynamic capabilities in the impact of social capital on entrepreneurship orientation.
Methodology: This research is applied in respect of goal, and it is descriptive-correlation in respect of method. The statistical population of the research was knowledge-based  companies active in East Azerbaijan province. The data collection tool was a standard questionnaire that which its validity was confirmed by experts and its reliability was approved by composite reliability and Cronbach's alpha. Conceptual model test and research hypotheses were conducted, using structural equations modeling by Smart PLS software.
Findings: The findings of this study showed that social capital has a positive and significant effect in addition to direct effect, indirectly and through its dynamic capabilities on Entrepreneurial orientation. Other findings of the study showed that dynamic capabilities have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial orientation.
Conclusion: Managers of knowledge-based companies can provide the ground for the development of entrepreneurship in the company by improving networking, creating effective communication and creating new capabilities.
