Background & Purpose: EVP as a strategy to create a competitive advantage for the employer in the labor market and with the aim of ensuring the employment and maintaining of the best employees, is a new concept that considers the benefits of cooperation with a specific employer and so far different components have been introduced for that. Therefore, the current research seeks to understand the nature is as well as the components of EVP with an integrated approach.
Methodology: In this research, in order to understand the nature and components of EVP, a systematic literature review method was used. For this purpose, after defining the research questions, a systematic review protocol was developed, so that 352 related articles were identified and after screening, 41 articles were included in the analysis list using open coding method.
Findings: Based on the results, 93 codes were extracted in relation to the definition EVP and a total of 11 codes were categorized in the form of 4 concepts. Also, 426 codes related to the components of EVP were extracted, and after more general categories, a total of 19 concepts were identified in the form of 5 categories..
Conclusion: The nature of EVP is the value that employees receive from the features provided by the employer, and include communicational, cultural, economical, developmental values, values of the job and values of pride and credibility of the organization, each of which is obtained through the characteristics of the employer.
