Background & Purpose: Due to the increasing crisis in today's organizations, employees are involved with psychological challenges. The appropriate behavior of managers can be one of the important factors to overcome this problem. This study aimed to identify the behavioral dimensions of managers in order to reduce the psychological challenges of human resources in critical situations and to rank it from the employees view with a mixed approach.
Methodology: This research was conducted using a mixed method (qualitative-quantitative). In the first stage, the method of narrative research has been used to identify the managers' behavior. The interviewees of this stage were 21 managers of public and private sectors. In the second step, Delphi method, SPSS software and Kendall's test were used to determine the importance of each behavior from the employees view and the questionnaire was given to 15 employees to determine the degree of importance of each behavior in the range of 1 to 7 and from completely important to completely unimportant.
Findings: In the qualitative stage, 31 behaviors were identified and discovered, and in the second stage and the Delphi method, they were classified into four categories: very important (5 behaviors), important (11 behaviors), mean (11 behaviors), and low importance (4 behaviors).
Conclusion: By constructive behaviors such as Supportive behavior, tolerant behavior, fair behavior, emotional and communicative transparency, and respectful behavior, which are the most important from the employees view to reduce their psychological challenges, managers can use crises and threats into empowerment, increasing employee motivation, and ultimately organizational success
